Nudists Working To Be Healthier

This is a place for anyone who would wants to be healthier today than they were yesterday. It's my hope that we can inspire each other to do better every day. It's a proven fact that folks who eat less "junk" and exercise live longer than those who don't. I want to live a long time so I can be naked more! ;)

Almost Completed 2 months!

Well, that stupid scale finally moved. All of the sudden I have lost 4 lbs. I'm down almost 2.5" in my stomach in the last 4 weeks and my BF% has started to drop too! Needless to say, I'm a happy, naked camper!
Anyone besides me and Gator doing any exercise routines right now? I actually signed up to be a Beachbody coach. It helps me stay motivated and accountable! Do something healthy today! It just takes baby steps!

RE: Almost Completed 2 months!

Well, week 5 of Power 90 is done! This is Week 9 of my new lifestyle and I'm enjoying the changes even though some of them are happening slower than I'd like. I'm stronger, have more endurance and am much more flexible than I was just 5 weeks ago. I feel better. I sleep better and I have more stamina. My fat is "jiggly" which is a good thing. I am still dealing with an issue with my left elbow. Hopefully that will go away soon because it's time to step up the workouts to the next phase.
Not too many are reading my ramblings but it is my hope that someday, someone will read them and realize "Hey, I can do that too!".
All it takes is a plan and some dedication and a good reason. I can help with all of that so come on a do it! You'll be so happy you did.
If you aren't exercising regular including cardio AND strength training you are robbing yourself of your best health!
Here's to being better today than we were yesterday!
Stay naked my friend.

Rock On, man! P90X is a killer!
I'm actually a Beachbody Coach. Be SURE to go through the fitness test first and don't overdo it! I recommend using the Message Boards at Beachbody.com. it's free and there are a lot of people there that can help in different phases. Eat clean, workout every day (6 x / wk) and drink lots of water! You'll do great! Oh, take pictures and measurements! Trust me, it's important.

Frank - Feel free to contact me if I can help or you want to order anything from Beachbody. You can email me at fishnekkid on g mail.
P90X is killer. If you are in pretty good shape - go for it. If this is your first program, I recommend Power 90 to begin.

10 Weeks in... 21 lbs down

Well, today is the end of the 10 th week total. I've lost 21 lbs, over 4" in my stomach and inches everywhere else too. Seems the weight loss is picking up a bit of steam again. Went through several weeks of nothing - but now I'm avg 2 lbs per week.
I feel so much better than I did 10 weeks ago that I can't imagine going back. But I know that I have to watch it virtually every day or old habits will sneak in.

RE: 10 Weeks in... 21 lbs down

Well, thought I'd check in to keep things going. I'm still doing Power 90 and haven't missed a workout so far. I've moved up to the 3-4 Discs which is the second level. Pretty tough but I'm hanging tough.
So far since Jan 3rd I've lost just under 25 lbs so I'm quite pleased with that. I'll post a new picture next weekend some time but I'm getting more and more people noticing the changes. I can almost do 70 push-ups. On day one I could do 3. That's THREE! It's awfully hard to tell you how great I feel. I don't think when you are out of shape you understand what daily exercise does for you. The changes happen internally before they show externally. I have energy, I have no real aches and pains, my "IBS" is gone, the arthritis in my back, legs and hands has been all but eliminated. My blood pressure is well within "normal" and is 108/60 first thing in the morning! The IBS being gone is a tribute to a product called "Shakeology". It's a proprietary blend of vitamins, minerals, probiotics, antioxidents and more. I've dealt with IBS at least weekly and sometimes twice a week without fail for over 25 years. It kept me from doing a lot of things because I just never knew when I might have an episode. I haven't had one episode in the last 3 weeks (when I started using the Shakeology).
Anyway, I hope you guys are doing something each day to be healthier each day than you were the day before. Trust me, it's worth it!
