Return to DiscussionsThere hasn't been any activity here in quite a while. I am seeing a few posts in new groups and discussions about the "reality" series Naked and Afraid but nobody has posted anything here. I am wondering what people think about the series. I have enjoyed some of the episodes. Sometimes it seems too contrived for me and I really do resent the blurring. I wish there was an unedited version, not because I like to see genitals, I am so comfortable with that it really doesn't matter, but it would be so much better for the world if nudity could begin to just be accepted. Maybe it is a first step at more open acceptance.
I'm a big fan of Naked & Afraid, especially this summer's version, Naked & Afraid XL. Now they have to survive 40 days instead of 21. They've grouped up past contestants in teams of three and thrown them into the same general vicinity in Columbia. Looks like they plan to merge the teams as the series progresses. Very interesting twist on a concept that was getting pretty stale after three seasons.
