Remains one of my favorite films of all time for many reasons, including what it has to say about the body, and the wonderful skinny dipping scenes; Nicholas Roeg captures the beauty of our Aussie landscape, and questions the nature of civilization and what it means for all; the soundtrack and photography are superb, and the final sequence with its arcadian swimming scene still reduces me to tears of joy - more so now, because of a collective loss of innocence over the naked body, and a failure to acknowledge the joy and healthy sensuality gained from such activities...And, of course, the film would not be made today - it is the product of a world gone forever....
