RE:Sexual Orientation

Male, female, gay, bi, straight or just curious all of us on here simply enjoy getting our clothes off and enjoying the freedom and comfort of being naked.

We are all different in our body shapes, sizes, etc etc and accept others as they are in all sorts of social and private situation so why would the sexual orientation of any individuals matter.

Just embrace all for the diverse difference, in all social situations that makes our world go round.

The only time you should be concerned about someone's sexual orientation is in the bedroom ( or anywhere else you and "friend" may enjoy.

I look at it but it doesnt change how I make contact. I pay much more attention to what is in their profile in regards to their interests. I appreciate those whose pictures are in nature. This is a nudist site so I would not likely friend a person who doesnt post nude photos. I dont use the chat feature not do I cam but I do enjoy sending notes back and forth. I like to hear about others experiences with nudism. I like encourage those that are just starting as naturists. Its fun to exchange stories and experiences. I have found nudists to be very down-to-earth people. My personal preference tends to be those guys closer to my age so I suppose that could be a bias but it is mostly comfort of conversation.

I do believe some have reacted to my self-label of gay. I am ok with that because I would not want to be part of their world. Im not here to win hearts and minds but because I live most of my time nude and I love it. Life is too short to let yesterday or tomorrow use up today.

I dont care if a person be gay, bi or straight, i dont judge, i connect with people because of what i read on their profile. As a gay man myslef i understand some men may be uncomfortable connecting with a gay male but that is their hang up not mine. I still believe this is not a hook up sight but more a social connection site. me being from the country where people are a little more reserved it is awesome to reach out to people from around the world

I don't think my orientation is relevant on this site. If people want to know, they can ask, but that is all part of getting to know me.

I agree with all of the above, especially Red_Wolf and FreeLee. The comment "that's all I need to know" says more about that person. Clearly sexual orientation impacts on their love of nudism/naturalism and gaining wonderful friends. Its their loss.

it does not matter, being a good person does.

RE:Sexual Orientation

I don't use sexual orientation as a criterion for reaching out. I use things like similar interests to decide whether I might be compatible for meeting someone in person. But I know that a lot of other people are skittish about "the other.". I just contacted a fellow who is looking for hiking buddies. I will be traveling to where he lives. It has marvelous hiking and he's clearly experienced. He's married and straight, very clear in his profile. There is nothing in my profile that suggests that I am on the make. Nevertheless, in his cordial reply he reminded me that he is "not looking for anything more" than a hiking partner. It sort of left me deflated. Here I am, a PhD with varied abilities and interests laid out in a reasonable profile, but there was no spark of interest in anything about me in the reply to except to set the ground rules that I need to keep my hands to myself. I have hiked nude on three continents and a few islands with men and women and never had a problem keeping my hands to myself. I suspect that's true for most of us. Navigating the world of nudists as it is vs the world we envision can be a challenge.

not really but a lot of times I will get a friend request with a note " hey i'm bi too like your profile " or in chat someone will chat and mention they are bi or gay and i'll look. one of the camps I visit is gay so I presume most are gay or bi who visit never thought to ask if anyone was straight

Well I personally never outright ask anyone ever because there's no reason for it in my view but that said it doesn't mean in interactions I am not curious... what I have come to understand us that in most cases men and women nude and relaxed with myself and others like me in the right settings don't need to adhere to rigid gender or sexuality based roles.
