Return to DiscussionsI was about age six when I realized i enjoyed being nude. My father delivered magazines to stores and often times I would sit in his truck and look at mags. I came across some mags that were about nudist and the pics were people enjoying the nude life at resorts. I always thought that one day I'd try it. I have and enjoy it like I thought I would.
Age 10 comes to mind. However I had few opportunities to go nude until I was in the military in Germany and lived off base. The Germans seemed more tolerant of social nudity. I just remembered that we didnt wear swimming suits in swim classes when I was in high school in Kenosha, Wisconsin. I started going to nude beaches around age 30 and have continued since.

I do however vividly remember that first nude surf. The feeling was absolutely fantastic. Have been nude in surf many many times and always love it but nothing quite achieves the same sensation as that first time of sting waves crashing over the naked body.

Finally I got the courage to go to a clothing optional beach and let it all hang out.It was amazing,
I felt FREE and being not much of one for socialising. I felt comfortable amongst others for the first time ever. Then I found a little hide away called River Island in NSW Australia.Here I stayed for 1 week, Wanted to stay for ever.Living as a TrueNudist.
Met some great people, and just really enjoyed life for the first time in a long time. Can't wait to go back again
It was the YMCA and the requirement to be naked to swim for lessons or at other times. Then it was going to the YMCA boys camp which required all camp males up to and including the camp director to be at the beach of their lake nude with a bar of Ivory soap (it floats) to assure that at least once each week everyone gets a bath. It was educational to see nude males at all stages of development! I enjoyed it so much that I even went nude to the daily morning dips!
