PA Piercing
HAVE PA and more piercings
Thinking of having a PA - what do I need to consider?
Return to DiscussionsI have recently undergone treatment for prostate cancer, as a result my penis has shrunk by 60% (a recognised side effect of the treatment, which may or may not occur - just my luck for it to kick in at the last minute!). So thinking of having a Reverse PA to help add weight to penis and stop it from retracting.
Wondering whether there are any issues with having a Reverse PA as I have read in some other posts that it can cause spraying when you pee, and for others it stops spraying. What effect does a PA have on your peeing?
For someone (like myself) who is uncircumcised I gather the foreskin will be held back by the position of the Reverse PA and the head of the penis will remain exposed. Is this correct?
What effect does a Reverse PA have on intercourse with a male or female partner (I am Bi-sexual) or masturbation? Any particular care needed?
I gather one has to start with a small gauge and can work up to larger gauges, allowing six months' healing time between upgrades. What gauge/size should I start with?
Any insights to these questions or anything else you think will be helpful to know would be much appreciated. Thanks.
A rundown of the PA.
Using the piercing as a way of preventing retraction is unrealistic. You should get the piercing mostly because you like the look. It does add some sensation, but it isn't always that noticeable for either. It has worked fine for my wife and I.
Urination will be affected permanently. Jewelry coming out the tip of the urethra causes the stream to fan out, like a watering can. Also, you will get dripping or a second but smaller stream coming out around the jewelry at the piercing hole. So, what does this mean for daily life? Standing at toilets without making a mess all over the toilet and floor becomes nearly impossible. You're much better off to sit down. Urinals that aren't designed for short people are usually fine. Sitting results in a much cleaner restroom. Pierced or not. This isn't reason enough not to do it. I got a PA in 2012, and a longtime friend of mine got his in 2003. It's something you learn to live with. The hole is permanent once it's healed, so it will always leak there.
I started with a 10g, and that was fine. Focus on letting it heal. You will have the rest of your life to upsize it. But, consider your daily activities before you go to jumbo gauges. Those may cause you discomfort of you're into running, tennis, etc. I wore a 4g titanium ring for a bit, but for me 6g seems like a better all around thickness.
Any other questions? Just ask.
Edit: I don't have foreskin, but I know that you will want it to be able to rest in its natural position with jewelry in place.
Ive had a reverse pa over 30 years. Especially love it is much more visible than a regular pa. I once was up to a 0 but mostly wear a 4. I always get noticed at naked events. Plus I have pierced nipples many scrotals and a guiche ladder.
Well, it's done. Had my PA piercing done a few days ago. It looks good!Pursuing recommended after care so hope it heals over the next four weeks or so.Planning to upsize, probably in Autumn 2023.
Hope you love the look and feeling. I love all mine.
