Return to DiscussionsDozens of great places just a short distance from DSR in downtown PS. Walk around town for a couple of hours and enjoy! As for drinks at DSR, it may depend on whether or not the bar is open. We saw plenty of people with plastic cups pouring their own wine.
Any suggestions for places to eat close to dsr? Also, what's the rule for bringing your own drinks to the pool area. Thanks

We just happened to see your Post about Desert Sun, and thought that we would reply to your question.
We have been at Desert Sun since last Thursday ( and will be here till Sunday ) , and have seen no issues with bringing your own Food or Drinks to the pool side.
We would suggest not bringing any beverages that might be in a Glass container, such as wine or beer etc, as.....Plastic is so much Safer.....around any Pool Deck.
As far as restaurants go, you have tons of them to choose from, depending on your taste buds, and they are all a short 5 minute drive away, from Desert Sun.
This is our second trip to Desert Sun, and look forward to coming down again, in July or August......for their "Non Stop" Sun.
We Love Palm Springs, and even though we are still here, we can't wait to come back, for more.
