For anyone on here, that is actually looking for some R+R in the Sun, look no further than Desert Sun in Palm Springs.
We just walked in the door, and thought that we would give another review on Desert Sun, while it is still Fresh in our minds.
It seems as if, the more that we go, the more that we love the place.
Our very first visit was just so - so.
Our second visit was much better.
Our third visit was the most relaxing Holiday, that we have ever had.
10 days of doing absolutely Nothing, but reading by the pool, and working on our super dark tans, while floating in the "Quiet" pool, for hours on end.
Desert Sun is an immaculate manicured Gem, located just minutes from the Airport, and even closer to an endless row of Restaurants, that will cater to each and everyones taste's.
From time to time, Desert Sun has a "Customer Appreciation Day", and they have various Live Bands coming into perform, and they really get the place Rocking, with no additional cost to their quests.
Last weekend they had a "Beach Boys" Surf sound Band playing, then we saw that in July, they have a "Journey" clone band playing for the quests enjoyment.
The music and the bands are an added nice touch, but we come for the SUN and for lots of R+R, which we definitely got our monies worth of.
Desert Sun is so large, that you can always find what ever you are looking for.
There are 3 Pools at Desert Sun.....One is the activity pool, which is the main pool..where the Party people hang out at......the second pool is the Salt Water pool, and it is fairly secluded in the rear of the Resort, it has a lot of ambiance surrounding the pool....Palm Trees and quiet condo's....the third pool is our favourite, which is called the Quiet pool.
The "Quiet" pool is supposed to be just that....."QUIET", and for the most part it is.
It gets the occasional group, that LOUDLY Chats and acts up, while forgetting that it is the "QUIET" pool, but a discrete reminder from the staff, puts a quick end to that.
We LOVE the Peaceful / QUIET of this pool, and even with that very tacky Zen music constantly playing in the back ground, we are so relaxed at the end of our stay.....that a Jelly Fish or a Kuala Bear are far more stressed out, than we could ever be! lol
We can not say enough about Desert Sun.
For us, located on the West Coast, it definitely works.
California Dreaming, is what Desert Sun is all about.
We would highly recommend Desert Sun, to anyone who is looking for, a really nice and relaxing Nude Resort.
We have gone, from just liking Desert Sun, to now Loving Desert Sun.
