Return to DiscussionsIt looks like the group is pretty quiet, so I'll just let everyone know that I had a terrific stop at Paradise Lakes a couple of weeks ago, my first visit since the before times. Everything was wonderful. I did get into a brief tiff with a woman over a chair saved all day and not used (more funny than anything, as I quickly returned it to her), and I wasn't happy about having to beg at the bar for a cup for water (no free cups at watering stations like there used to be). Otherwise, it was fantastic all around. I'm looking forward to going back.
I was there Monday. I think its a nice place. Older crowd (Im 57) that day, and fairly quiet. It picked up with a trivia game in the evening and members coming by after work. On weekends, its a bit younger and more focused on swinging. Pure nudists and swingers seem to coexist. Ive heard complaints about harsh treatment and silly rules, but Ive overall had great experiences there.

They have chilled water fountains around. Just refill your empty water bottle. An empty water bottle is on the approved list of items you can bring in.
Our first day we brought in a cooler bag, second day that was a no no. I had made a sandwich and had to eat it in the parking lot outside. I got the impression that the kind counter worker, had she seen me (and she probably did on the cameras), would have chased us away for not eating at their restaurant. We tried but eh, not too thrilling menu.
At least you didn't meet Creepy Joe. Upon asking us for introductions at the hot tub, he gestured to shake my wife's hand, instead he grabbed her pussy (I wonder where he got that idea from). After spending the next 20 min. insisting we go up stairs, with him, to "check things out," we retreated to our lounges. Creepy Joe came over to keep an eye on us, just us for the next 4 hours.
Would we go back? Yeah, sure. It's a nice place. I would just clarify at the front desk wether Creepy Joe's freedoms are more important than my sandwich.
