Looking g to start a group to discuss the big questions of nudism and naturalism. I am interested in why people choose nudism. What, if any, religious or spiritual reasons are there for nudism. What is nudism and what is not nudism. What are the subtle differences between nudism and naturism? What about the ethics surrounding nudism and naturism? Let your voice be heard tell us your story.

up in Yosemite somewhere near half dome.
No pain here, no dull
empty hours, no fear of the past, no fear of the future. These blessed
mountains are so compactly filled with Gods beauty, no petty personal hope or
experience has room to be. Drinking this champagne water is pure pleasure, so
is breathing the living air, and every movement of limbs is pleasure, while the
whole body seems to feel beauty when exposed to it as it feels the camp-fire or
sunshine, entering not by the eyes alone, but equally through all ones flesh
like radiant heat, making a passionate ecstatic pleasure-glow not explainable.
Ones body then seems homogeneous throughout, sound as a crystal. - Muir,

Early Naturism by Francis and Mason Merrill
Just started reading
this one. Have not finished it yet. Seems to be a bit dated, it is from the
1930's. But promises to cover the history.
Prudes Hijacked The
Faith by Mason Garrett Ball
Good book from a
Christian perspective. Did not cover the
issue of modesty which seems to be one to cover from a Christian
perspective. Also spent too little time
on passages about nudism. They were all
in the later chapters and not given much depth.
David worshiped God nude with people all around. Too me that seems like key passage that is
not covered in this book.
A Brief History of
Nakedness by Philip Carr-Gomm
I have not read this
one yet. From what I understand he is a
modern Druid. He might have insight on
ritual nudism.
Naked at Lunch by
Mark Haskell Smith
I have not read this
one yet. A journalist journey into a
clothing optional world. He covers
topics of nonsexual social nudism including political protests. He also goes and participates. Should be an
interesting read.
