Has Anyone Run into a Relative, Friend, Neighbor or Co-worker here???
Return to DiscussionsI've not run into anyone online as a nudist that I knew, but have at
our resort several times, including parents of a boy I taught, woman I
knew from the local DA's office (she was also next door neighbor of a
very close friend of mine), and one of my father-in-law's closest
friends from his church. My sweet wife started off a little
uncomfortable with that last one, as he had been her sunday school
teacher at one time.

I have found three different friends that I knew on TN, two that I knew were nudists and one that I had no clue about. I expect in time to either find more friends online or at resorts that are nudists.
...I do worry that I will run into someone I know, but it was not actually as bad as I thought it would be. If fact it was good, I now know that I can handle the situation well.
Tru,dat! It was not nearly as uncomfortable for me, as I realized we were all there for the same reason, and all had the same apprehensions, lol!

not here, but at a local nudist resort, we both handled it calmly and were glad to meet a fellow nudist. now when we bump into each other at work we know what we mean when we look forward to the days getting warmer.
Not run into anyone I know here. have done in my work as an artist model, as model quite often local to where i live and work. Just deal with it in a professional way, though is an initial awkward, slightly embarrassing moment when they realise that i am in the class, not to draw but to model, which soon turns to that pleased i am the model. Also have run into work colleague and his wife at nudist beach, as we all nude, so obvious we shared the same lifestyle!
I did the 5k nude walk/run at Turtle Lake Nudist resort in lower Michigan several years ago. While relaxing post race in the conversation pool one young man was relating a story and said " I can hear my students say , You ran naked Mr. Jones?" It clicked I knew the young man's father back home and in fact had seen the young man perform in his high school play. He was now a teacher in the local school district he went to himself. I took him aside after and told him that I knew his dad, but his secret was safe with me. Then I added " if you opt to tell your dad that you saw me here, that is totally okay with me" I do not know if he ever told his dad.
