Y.M.C.A. and Nude Swimming
Return to DiscussionsI liked going to the YMCA as a kid and swimming nude. As I understand it the YWCAs did not have pools.. There were women's locker/dressing rooms at our YMCA. The YMCA at that time was men only on Tuesday and Thursday so those days you were free to swim nude .. but was considered suit optional.. I only remember the life guards wearing suites. These days nudity is just so sexualized by media I too think it will be a long time if at all before we see it again at the YMCA. Sad really. Steve
I tried to rent out the local y pool during closed hours for a nude swim and I was rejected due to corporate policy. They've gone from "no trunks allowed" to "no dicks allowed" in relatively short period and I wish I could do something about it, but am glad they still let me shower and steam nude.
