Weekend getaways
Return to DiscussionsWe (read the wife) decided that a quick weekend escape was needed; the work around the house syndrome I think finally got to her and into the Florida reservation system she went. Specifically, she was looking for cancellations at local state parks for Friday, Saturday & Sunday. After a brief search, she found one and quickly reserved it. It will just be a quick trip for just two nights but the wife gets out of the house & a routine break. There wont be much nudity involved, just in the motorhome & an early AM foray around our site but it will be something different. And-it makes the wife happy!! Does anyone else do these semi-spontaneous outings?
I suck at planning in advance. Seems it just never goes as planned for one reason or another. I don't have a wife though. So almost all of my outings are spontaneous these days. Or at least planned no further in advance than a reliable weather forecast.
My wife is a planner. She makes plans to make plans for her planning sessions :) Seriously, she makes list after list and reviews things a hundred times before we go. We rarely make spontaneous trips because she plans everything. This is not a bad thing by the way.
