Hi I've been a smoothies since I meet my wife to be at 14yrs old. We had hit puberty and my wife hated pubic hair so shaved when she seen the first hair and has never stopped till this day. I was very understanding of her wanting to be hair free and went that way myself, so much better. I do now make most of my body hair free and love it.

I started shaving when i took up cycling some 25 years ago, legs only at the start, and over the years i started shaving the rest of my body, i could never go back to being hairy again

I don't belong to this group (I really wouldn't want to be smoother than nature has made me), but your contribution came up as part of my notifications, because a response was from one of my friends. It must be very unusual for a 14-year-old couple to be naked together. I didn't even know any girls when I was that age LOL. It must also be very unusual for a 14-year-old to shave his pubic hair so soon after acquiring it. Didn't you value it, as a sign of adulthood? Did your classmates assume you were a late developer?

A valid question about shaving as a 14 year old. When I was that age I think most boys looked forward to a crop of pubes to show off in the locker room as proof of maturity. For myself, I was a late bloomer with thin blonde hair. I desperately wanted a nice bush above my very average penis. I began shaving in my late 20's as a rascal who loved oral sex. In the 70's most women had a wild unkempt bush that was gross with odors and not at all sexy. Using alcohol as my aid, I convinced a gal to shave the jungle to make it easy to see and enjoy.
Over time, she insisted that I should shave as well. That began my life long habit of body hair removal. I have tried it all from razors to liquid products. I found getting waxed about 5-6 weeks is the most satisfying result. Now at age 75 I couldn't imagine having it any other way.

I did try shaving my pubic hair off in my teens, I can't remember exactly when that was, probably not when I was 14, probably a year or two later.

I'd seen how people in nudist magazines didn't have pubic hair and I liked that look, not knowing at that time that some of the photos may have been air-brushed. So, at the start of the summer break from school I shaved my pubes off, I loved being smooth again, but I let the hair grow back so that I'd have some by the time we were back at school and sharing showers there. I lived in the country and had already discovered that I liked being naked outside so that summer when I shaved off my pubes I loved being extra naked.

I didn't become a regular smoothie until my mid-twenties when my girlfriend at the time suggested that I try shaving my pubes off like she did. For some reason I hadn't told her that I liked being smooth until then. Soon afterwards I was shaving all of my body. We visited nudist clubs and beaches and back then we were sometimes the only smoothie couple there, some women were smooth but it was less common among men. We were doing a lot of other things in those days, nudism wasn't as big a part of my life as it is now, but those trips to nudist places back then were some of my favourite nude times. While a lot of the others at clubs were older than us it was so nice to be nude 24/7 socially with them and we both put our popularity down to being both younger and hairless below the necks.

I've been a smoothie since those days and struggle to imagine not being a smooth nudist like others here do.
