as I find it hard to believe that any adult would not sleep nude No idea why the bed linen is not enough for warmth and all the studies point to it being more healthy not to wear restrictive clothing.

I agree, but it took me until well into adulthood to get to that point.
Wife still says she us too cold no matter how many covers she has.
Would never sleep with clothes on at all, unless of course, somewhere where it was so cold that there was no option....
I have flannel sheets and my body heat keeps me warmer than having clothes on. Also love the feeling of the flannels against my skin. I use them year round but then I do have air conditioning and a ceiling fan for in the summer months
Since the age of 12 I have always been sleeping naked. Now living in tropical climate where there is no need for blanket - not even a top bed sheet. Therefore sleeping fully exposed - cooled under the ceiling fan.
Saw on another post that you grew up in Scandinavia.
Why and when did you move to a tropical location?
Did you have any trouble adjusting to the climate difference?
I also noticed on your profile page that you are at an age where you are probably retired.

It was work that initially prompted me to relocate to my tropical location. And the climate was an important factor that prompted me to stay and settle beyond retirement. At home I can be naked as much as I want. But unfortunately local laws prohibits any kind of nudity in public spaces - and the laws are strictly enforced. So naked outdoors is practically out of the question except in very remote locations ... and even there it is risky ...
I started sleeping nude about 5 yrs ago, until then I had been sleeping in only boxers for a majority of time. Friends told me they slept nude but it was something I couldn't see myself doing. I always thought you needed to have private parts covered. As a sleeper who moves around alot in bed, I also didn't appreciate the confine of my balls. I never realized the importance of naked sleeping. One day I allowed myself to just try it for one night. Since then I began sleeping nude all the time and have seen the quality of my sleep time improve significantly as well as not experiencing "balltwist" I have read many articles that sleeping nude is actually better for your health as well. I wish I hadn't waited so long to do it.
