Return to DiscussionsI must have been about 12 or 13 when I started sleeping naked. Ill never forget the first time. I had walked into my Dads room as I couldnt sleep and asked him if I could get into the bed with him. He said sure son, get on in. I got in and noticed he didnt have any clothes on. I said Dad, why dont you sleep in your underwear and t-shirt like I do? He said I just sleep better without any clothes on. I said Do you think I would sleep better without any clothes on? He said you can try if you want. I took off my underpants and my t-shirt and got up close to Dad. He said does that feel better? I said It does and my heart was racing. I put my head on his chest and he could feel my heart racing and he said its OK son. You are OK. And we fell asleep. I never slept with clothes again and always slept with my father after that.

I see it's been five years since you posted this story. Even so, it's one of the most endearing and moving personal vignettes of father-son bonding I've encountered anywhere. Thanks so much for sharing it. You've validated more of us guys than you know.
