Return to DiscussionsWell, when. I was in my 20's I did a full shave and hated it, then again I was all of about 130lbs and frankly looked like a drowned rat.
Forward to today, decades later, I took to trimming, then some shaving (scrotum, above the penis) Now I'm trimmed really close and found that when i shaved I went a bit higher than normal and now i'm enjoying how it looks. Not sure if I'm ready for a full shaving off the pubic hair, but I am seriously considering it. I'm trimmed low enough that a full shave should be easy should I decide to do it. I've been using coconut oil to keep things soft and to hold back any itching from minor stubble. I do have to admit I really like how it feels.
I started shaving my pubic area due to ED. The V.A. issued me a Erect-aid and they instructed me that shaving had to be done to ensure a good seal. So I shaved, it wasn't until a bit later that after finding moisturizers did I notice that I liked the feel of the smoothness. So needless to say as time went by I began shaving more and more of me and today the only place I don't shave is my arms otherwise I am a smoothie and couldn't love it more. I use Coochy cream to shave with and it leaves me nice and smooth no bumps. I have tried home waxing but it is quite painful but it does keep it smooth much longer So I'll probably go to get a full wax job in the near future. Love the smoothness.
