Smooth Nudist
for all who love the felling of being smooth
Is there a correlation to being smooth with age and gender preference?
Return to DiscussionsJust out of curiosity and not to offend anyone, I'm just wondering if age is a factor in wanting to be smooth and gay vs. straight. From being on a nude beach this summer, from observance it appears more of the older crowd were smooth, men and women. Now if this is taken to gender preference, I'm just curious if more gay people are smooth versus straight and again if age becomes a factor.
Freud might have enjoyed a study like this.
I don't think there is any correlation between smoothness and age or gender. I frequently visit the clothing optional beach, and have attended a couple of clothing optional pool parties, and it appears that smoothies come in all genders, ages and sexual orientations.
I think that there are more smoothies around today, irrespective of age, gender or sexual orientation. This applies to both nudist friends and from what I see of other nudists at beaches and clubs. Most of our nudist friends are around our age group, 40's and 50's, of the ones we socialise with at our homes with most are smooth. 5 years ago fewer were, prior to then we were definitely in the minority quite often. Amongst the other nudists we spend more time with the age range is wider, people from their 20's to their 70's are smoothies, gender and sexual orientation doesn't seem to make much difference.
Illinois Dan - good point about the possible difference between nudists and non-nudists. Last December while on vacation at a nude beach resort it did appear that when men and women were a couple things were tidy and smooth. If the guys were alone or with a few other guys there was hair.
As a young guy, new to nudism with social nude experience, believed to be bi/curious but only had sex with a couple of girls, I know only what my limited experience is and that is that almost all the girls in my age group and the majority of guys are smooth, unless the guys just get lazy or are single right now. If they are single they dont care. But as soon as they start talking to a girl, swoop all smooth again. The guys that are not smooth are trimmed up very neat. I dont think i have seen a full bush since i started High School and i am in my 2nd year of college now. Just what i have seen and heard guys. Thanks

Not only do I enjoy the look and feel of being smooth it also helps with body odor. Hair absorbs the moisture and will start to give off that foul odor if not cleaned frequently. By eliminating underarm hair and pubic hair, there is less chance of offending body odor. I also agree with the others that there is no correlation with age or gender, simply a matter of personal preference.
I have shaved my pubes since shortly after I got them. Mainly because it was less painful then getting the hairs caught and pulled. I expanded from there. I think a lot of it is a persons comfort level.
I do not believe so, but that's just me.
As a lifelong nudist growing up in a nudist colony and having 10 of the women who grew up with me living in a condo across the street and all of us loving to be full-time smoothies, we all twice a week do "full-body shaving parties" of one another. for over 30 yrs+
It is both enjoyable to shave one another from the head down [and 4 of the 10 women and I are also proud baldies: by choice].
We are all in our upper 40's & 50's. I am a "Bi" while they are all Lesbians.Paul
Don't think it is age nor gender. I do go to public saunas almost on a weekly base and see all kind of people flowing through the building and there is no difference between them. What I can say is that compared to may be 10 years ago all of the groups yound and older, gay and straight do go smoother and smoother. Seems to be a general trend. The full bush versions do get fewer and fewer.
Well, I'm bi, but my smoothness has more to do with my submissive side, more than anything else.
But, let's face it..... sex with smooth parts feels better and avoids awkward "hair pulling" LOL
Just my two cents!
