Waxing, shaving, laser hair removal: What do you prefer?
Return to DiscussionsHi, new here now but have been a smoothie for a long time. I have always shaved. I would like to try waxing but so far never did. When I was in Cap d'Agde last time there were some studios. Maybe next time.
I have just started shaving and good grief am I getting red bumps and sore in the groin area and just above. Will that subside with time? I use a lotion and 5 bladed razor. Any suggestion?
Your more than likely very sensitive skinned. Not a problem. For your first few shaves, try weekly and only shave with the direction of the hair for a while. You may not be as smooths no want at first. Don't overshave. It will irritate. Another thing to try is Magic hair removal cream. By it at local pharmacy or Walmart. Wait until your bumps heal over and have a bit of hair growth back. Try a small area at first to see how sensitive you are to it. It does have a slight burning sensation but I've found it less irritating then veet and nair. Follow directions on the tube
