Electric light treatment

Return to Discussions

I've been shaving since I was 17 because I love the look and the feel of smooth cock and balls. I've tried everything under the sun to permanently remove the hair and finally found a Braun light treatment that did the trick.

After several treatments, hair growth is stunted and no more hair or ingrown hairs. Monthly light treatment keeps the hair totally away. Less expensive than laser treatment with the same results. Women either love or hate when they see I'm completely shaven. I'm also pierced so it shows up better being shaven.

Did you buy the machine or go to someone to have it done?

The device for hair removal is called an Intense Light Pulse (IPL) device.

I shaved for years and then discovered the IPL so went and purchased a Philips IPL and began using it over one winter, starting in October and all the way through to Spring. There are come considerations that must be taken into account; it works best on fair skin types with dark hair (it won't work on blond hair), and I did it over the winter because it works better without a suntan.

I used it a couple of times a week for the entire winter and by the end of it my hair has almost stopped growing where I had treated. It takes a long time but well worth the effort and cost of the device.

I have done my entire body from my navel down so that now I am totally free of any "big" hairs so that now, if it grows back, is it nothing more than the finest hair. I have totally eliminated any ingrowing hairs. I just love that I no longer need to shave, and that the skin is very smooth because I don't get stubble. I also did my backside and often get compliments about how smooth it looks and feels.

Being smooth is important to me as it looks (in my opinion) better and feels better and being an exhibitionist-nudist I enjoy being able to show myself off better and, strangely it makes me feel more naked so to that end I wish that I'd used an IPL years ago.

I am unable to post any pictures but should anyone be interested to know what it looks like then ask and I will get a picture to you if I can.

Sounds like a good option. Do you have to aim the light directly at each follicle? The hairs on my back get quite wirey and I'd love to be rid of them also!

The IPL devices have a small aperture (window) that is pressed against the skin surface. The one I have is probably about 2-3 square inches in area and when activated it sends a light pulse onto that specific area and not onto individual follicles as such. It can be used, albeit with a bit of difficulty, on the back.

Thanks, J. Last time I looked into the technology I understood I had to aim at the base of the hair for every follicle, but that was some time ago. Perhaps I need to revisit it, although meanwhile some of my hair has gone grey (and, somehow , thick) and they're the ones I most want to hit.
