People from not only the Midlands and a bit north but also Georgia gathered in Ridgeway for a perfect afternoon of fun, frivolity, and great food. The afternoon was spent outside under very sunny skies with some of the ladies enjoying a pedicure. Some chatted about the planned trip to Cypress Cove next week and the visit to the AANR office on Friday.

The Low Country Boil recipe was totally the best ever with large shrimp, smoked beef sausage, and the sweetest corn. Without those who attended bringing a little bit each, it would not have been quite as good. The meal concluded with delicious brownies and ice cream with a variety of toppings.

It really was difficult to leave as the hour grew late, but attendees knew that there will be other great times including the 5th Annual Pioneer Days and Earth Day celebration on April 23rd in Hopkins with grilled bison" burgers (and whatever others bring), lawn games, and spinning wheel demonstration and pickin and strummin on a variety of instruments.

The following event will be the celebration of Naked World Gardening Day and Mexican Fiesta on May 7th. This is also the date that the auction begins with which we help the AANR Education Foundation, American Nudist Research Foundation, Naturist Action Committee, and Sistercare, a charity for abused women and their children
