Return to DiscussionsI just got an email that PG is closing effective immediately. Thats going to change my plans for the upcoming holiday weekend. I know they have been trying to sell the place for awhile and was hoping it would stay open. The email didnt give any details and I guess we will just have to wait to find out more. There was quite a few full time campers there maybe someone has more info. Sorry to see it go, l liked going there sunnying and swimming.
I know that I had managed tp get out to PG 2-3 times a year for the last several years,busy schedule, but I always had a great time! Everybody was always so welcoming and friendly. My Mom always told me that I had a crazy great uncle that started a nudie camp on blue rock rd and thought she was kidding until I delivered pizza there one day!! So sad to see the place close. It was close and convenient. Closest place now is an hour+ away.
