Return to DiscussionsSpa Castle in Queens is worth checking out. The male lockerroom/ wet area is a decent size. The mandatory nude wet area has a dry sauna, steam sauna, 2 or 3 cold dip pools, 3 hot soaking pools, and a jet pool with a bubble tower massage in the center with massage chairs on the edge. There is the usual rows of sit down showers and stools as well as standing shower heads. There is a wide range of people that visit the spa. I have been to the location in Dallas as well. Going to the Spa Castle in Manhatten on 12/2 from about noon to 4. Would like to see other TN people while there. Cheaper, I know, to go to the one in Queens, but takes an hour each way from Grand Central and I'd rather spend my limited time naked in the Spa than on the subway going to Queens.
Glad you had a great time in the spa in NYC. Even thou it is a bit on the expensive side. Next time you are in the area, check out the ones in New Jersey. There are 3 that I know of. You may need a car. But I think there is one that has a shuttle service from Manhattan. The ones here in NJ are, King Sauna. I believe this is the one with the shuttle service from NYC. Star Spa. (This one is small and only gives you 2 hours to use their facility. $25.) Both of these are located in Palisades Park, New Jersey. Not far from the George Washington Bridge. The 3rd option is in Edison NJ. Its called Island Spa. Its pretty easy to get to by car. A lot of highway driving. All 3 charge less then the one in NYC. King Sauna and Island Spa both have Groupon Deals to save a few $. All 3 are Korean Spas. nudity is required in the men's area and a uniform in the coed areas.
