Return to DiscussionsThanks Nkddave. You are so right. It is the reason why I put this post up. Most Americans have no idea what a big cultural thing it is to the people of Korea. It is not just Korea but from Europe to Japan. When one walks into Spa World, one will see some signs and some are written in 3 languages Korean, English and Russian. Many Russians go there since the sauna/bathhouse is a big part of their culture. But it is so foreign to us and our modern mindset. Most fathers in America do not spend time with their sons naked like they do in Korea, Russia or many other parts of the world. If this was to happen I think many young men would not be so shy in the gym, they have more self confidence, more self esteem etc. There may not be so many deadbeat dad's etc. People wonder why loneliness is such a problem in the USA.
Some guys are going to do the towel dance for sure. My problem is like a new sign up in the gym I go to that says we should be courteous to others by being modest when changing. So they want all to towel dance now. I guess I have to towel dance after I get out of the shower naked and walk to my locker wet and naked to get my towel which is in my locker. LOL if they are not going to have any nudity in the locker room then they should have one locker room for both men and women together.
I like to also recommend watching the documentary called, The Steam Of Life. It is about men in Finland in a sauna naked showing the real side of a man which is from the heart. It is put out by PBS/POV.pbs.org/pov/steamoflife/Information about it also on IMDB.
