Sunnyside And Pt Impossible Beach G
A group for those interested in supporting these two beaches and keeping their legal status. Possibly having organised beach days with BBQ's and meeting other nudists. Becoming part of the Clean Up days to keep the beaches clean.

Return to DiscussionsThe description at the top implies there may be a threat to these beautiful beaches. Is that correct? If so why? If not please explain. SBN.
They're all probably at the risk of the whim of government, although I have no special insight into the internal machinations.
Sunnyside was probably chosen due to it's reasonably unique position of being not too far from Melbourne on the east and isolated by a small headland at each end and virtually no residences behind it, just the campground who instead end up using the more-open Sunnyside south beach by the carpark. If it wasn't there, I'm not sure where it would be. Lady Bay in Sydney is a contrast, where a tiny beach is unshielded from a walking track to the iconic South Head of the harbour.
In our favour, the beach is demonstratably popular. I counted over 100 on Wednesday around 2:30 with people still coming and going.
