Return to DiscussionsNothing in the Phoenix area compares to Tanque Verde, IMO. Sycamore Creek doesn't compare, either geographically (lacking length and grandeur) or socially (too many indiscrete guys cruising (to put it kindly) on too many weekends), although it's not bad on a weekday when the water's running. TVF has a nice mix of young and old, nude and not, hikers and loungers, and lots of space to stretch your legs if you are so inclined.
