What tattoo

Do a tattoo that means something to you. Something tat brings you pleasure. Picking a tattoo is personal because you'll have it for eternity :)
As you can see I have many pieces of body art - each of mine was designed or selected by me for a very specific personal reason. I made a list of things that were important to me. The walking staff that goes down my spine represents where I have been and where I am going. The bamboo on my left side is all about being strong yet flexible. The poppies up the right side represent commitment... The compass on my chest has aanatomicalheart - as long as I am headed in the direction of my heart I am headed in the right direction. These are samples of how I choose my work - make your own list - then do a internet search for each of the words that mean something to you.

Tattoos are personal and I agree that they should have some meaning behind them. I would not suggest going with someone else's idea. However, I have gone to tattoo artists with ideas and let their creativity come up with something cool. Best of luck!
Agreed, tattoos are individual, mine mark a point in my life. My first I found on the internet and the artist changed it a bit, the second I found on the www and he changed it to more closely resemble the first and a few changes I wanted. They are forever so you better like what they are. I love mine and I'm glad I've done them and the meanings they hold.
