WILL HAVE OUR 7th ANNUAL
Chinese Gift Exchange plus Italian Christmas Dinner, Xmas Caroling & DJ Dance
Here's What's Happening
The food will be available at 5:00 P.M. in the clubhouse. Cost for the Italian Christmas Dinner will be $5.00 per person.
Donations of snacks, finger foods, chips & dips will happily be accepted for all to nibble on during the day and evening. HoHoHo
Chinese Gift Exchange - - Starts around 7:00 PM.
How it works - Individuals or couples wishing to participate in this fun time event should bring a wrapped, unisex gift of approximately $15.00 - $20.00 in value. This should be a useable (not a gag ) gift which someone else would enjoy. All gifts will be placed under the Christmas Tree and the participating person(s) will draw a random number (1- ??) from a hat. The person with the lowest # will then take a gift from the pile and open it. The next higher numbered person will then have the option of taking that persons gift or a gift from under the tree. Then the next higher person has the same option to those opened gifts or from under the tree. The main rule is that the same gift may only be exchanged three times. This will continue on until all gifts have been opened.
The DJ dance hosted by Diane & Buddy will start after the gift exchange

A FEW QUICK NOTES:
1. There will be a New Years Eve party on Dec. 31st. which will consist of food, party favors, champagne, dancing, the Polar Bare Plunge, etc. More information to follow.
2. Both spas will be on for the Christmas party and maybe even our Sauna.
3. RV slots & tent spots are available for overnight accommodations.
4. Rooms are available to rent for this weekend. Please call for reservations.

Cook Off --- Saturday, January 17th 2009
Warm
up your winter and taste some Chili at Emerald Lakes 1st Annual Pot Luck Chili Cook Off. Not only feel the heat of what you eat but
the warmth of friendship. Beans or no beans the judging will be unanimous. If
you get chilled you can warm up in the Franklin Room around the wood burning
stove. A prize will be awarded for first place.
So,
come on out, bring your favorite Chili recipe and join in the fun on January 17,
2009 at 5 pm. After dinner play cards or dominoes in the clubhouse.Finalize
your evening with a dip in the hot tub.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Emerald Lake Resort will have our annual St. Patrick's Day party with a theme of the "Un-Wearin O' the Green" hosted by the entertainment & activity committee.

1) 7:00-8:30 PM = Game Time! Arrive early to play Irish Bingo Odd & Even plus Irish green snacks to feast on during the game time and into the dance.
2) 8:30 PM - DJ Dance by "Triple DJ's"??? playin the night away.
Pot O' Gold Raffle
3) Join in on our 50/50 Pot O' Gold raffle to win the gold at the end of the rainbow.
Drawing to be held during dance. You do not need to be present to win.
