Pleasantly Surprised
Return to DiscussionsI just found this group! I am pleasantly surprised that so many people appreciate older women. Now that I think about it, this appears to be the case with me. I got a lot of attention when I was young, miniskirts and all, since my legs and butt were awesome. As I aged I seemed to get less glances and longer admiring looks. When I reached my mid-sixties I began to notice more glances and such. I recently posted some pics of my 67 year old body in my profile and have been amazed at the nice comments and messages that I have been receiving. I still don't understand this phenomena, but I am thoroughly enjoying it !!!
You shouldn't be surprised. Each of our aging bodies is a gift from God. Each of us should enjoy it fully as we see fit. You have a beautiful body which reflects a peaceful and mature inner soul which anyone could love. Happy trails to you.
