Glad to see you are contributing. There have been some twists and turns so far in this young series, I must say. That, I think is the hook for the series and of course the basis is on the books. The premise is so different than the old "Dracula" story line. Very morden, funny, scary and always thinking what's next.
Have you read any of the books called the sookie stackhouse diaries ?
I know there is a series of them but don't know how many or if there is a complete collection you can buy all together.
the series has definitely got me hooked! I was reading somewhere that sookie gets involved with eric and I can sort of see that happening in a way how eric brought bill's maker back to keep him from sookie. We'll see what happens won't we. :)
I tend to agree with you about Eric but I also saw an excerpt from one of the books that indicated that. I don't know if I want to read the books and spoil what will happen in the series on HBO or just read them because I love the show and want to know what the books are like.
More often than not the books have much more detail than what gets put on film.
My wife surprised me with the first book in the series of Sookie Stackhouse novels.
So far the TV series is a lot like the book but I do see some big differences unless some of the characters on TV will show up in later books.
Some of the events had changed to some degree but no matter what I love the TV series and I just may continue reading the books if for no other reason than to see the differences between the two.
