Return to DiscussionsThought I would try a new post to see if anyone here would like to give recommendations as to decent places to go.
I can only report on the Elixir Health Spa in North London a small spa with a small Jaccuzi, a steam room and sauna as well as 3 massage treatment room all very clean and staff are nice and friendly and massage is good! can anyone report on other places like eureka siverleighs or rios I hear different things and thought this might be a good place to get a more personal view and accurate report!
Ok managed to visit Silverleighs this week during the day. First time! apart from signing my life away to appease HSE etc! found the place to be very friendly but a decent size with two spa pools a nice sauna and a steam room. Te steam room took a bit of warming up but once there was nice the spa were ok and the pool went from 3' to 8 ' very quickly! but temp was good. I tried the massage which was very professional and good with no funny business. some of the others there (mainly single males with a lone couple) were friendly but some were obviously trying to get more personal! I will say though they did not try too hard and gave plenty of space! (especially as I was not interested!) price was good my only critism would be that the place looks very dated (70's or 80's feel) but apart from this was very enjoyable. I look forward to visiting there again! rating 7/10
