Return to DiscussionsThe temp job for which I was hired for 2 months ended after 8 months a week ago. I've already applied for more than a half-dozen jobs.
It's not easy but we are surviving...barely. We are probably going to have to cancel our trip to Cypress Cove planned for April.

Got a thanks but no thanks letter for one of them. I would be happy with the other job. We've had to cancel some of our travel plans.

Last week I had 2 interviews and they set up 2nd interviews. Just before leaving the house, I was contacted and told thanks but they found another with a better skill set....whatever that means.
I did had a greatinterview this week on Tuesday. It is a good fit I feel and all highway driving, less than a 1/2 hr., great for the cr.
