It depends what you want. For the last two years I've been to a quiet corner at the western end of the Algarve in southern Portugal. It's well west of Luz. I like it because of it's rocky coast line broken by coves with lovely, fairly big, quiet sandy beaches. Many have a nudist part. Some have beach bars others are clothes optional throughout. I could also go hiking naked in the scrub of the countryside and along the cliff tops. Unfortunately the people I was staying with have moved to France. I'm going to try a camp site (about one third nudist) at Salima in September.
If you want vibrant, try El Templo Del Sol on the Mediterranean coast of Spain, at Hospitallette de L'Enfant, about an hour south of Barcellona. It is a big sit with excellent facilities, a mile long sandy nude beach with two beach bars, nude-only swimming pools, and clothedshop, restaurant and bar. It has pitches fro tents and caravans and hires out tents and cabins. The buzz there is being amongst hundreds of fellow nudists. And there are organised events and (clothed) evening entertainment.
