One Last Trip Before It Gets Cold
Return to DiscussionsStill want to get back there and take our motorhome and meet up with close friends outside of Denver. Afterwards, we'd follow them back to their place and park the coach and then take a driving trip through CO with them as tour guides. So much to see and places to explore. Have a great trip to VV!
I was surprised by my wife's reaction to VV. She's not a rustic kinda gal. She prefers the more resort types of places, accommodations and amenities but she was taken back by the place and the staff, the views and the pools. We only took a tour of the place and were allowed to roam around on our own for several minutes. We needed to hit the road and get to our next stop to meet up with those close friends we hope to visit VV with. Love to stay there for at least 3-4 nights.
Let us know if or when you plan on going back to V V we are only 3 hrs south and would also like to get back up there one more time before the cold...would be nice to actually meet someone there from here and hang out...Amber n Mick

I'll second that. I am no expert having not been to any more formal nudist resorts, but it seems to me that V V just has a different vibe that draws you in. My wife and I are certainly addicted. It is so hard to but the clothes on and leave every time we stay. Their science and nature programs are worth checking out. The bats for sure. We help with the geology. I'll likely lead a geology presentation/tour on the 12th. One of the fun things about V V is meeting new people and hanging out. It would be great to actually meet some people in person from this site. Unfortunately we will only be there from the 11th to the 13th this time out.
It was a good trip. The air temp in the day was pleasant in the sun, a little chilly in the shade. Nights are obviously cool now, but we had a full moon. The Waterfall Pond was great - good flow and pretty quiet. We met a few interesting people. Don't think we'll make it back this year, but you never know. I might run down with a tent and a sleeping bag if I get a break at the end of the month. Go before it snows (I'm a wimp).
