Using animals is not really needed
Return to DiscussionsI know how wrong it is to animals who do nothing to deserve the treatment, let alone understand it while they certainly experience everything with all the feeling, while they are used as commodity. Why should we think it is not an ethical issue or worthy of consideration? Many are not at all responsive to what must be happening to animals for them right away, if at all, belief systems especially will keep them from that. They will avoid even looking into it so that they continue as they do. It helps to show there is no good basis to say using animals is needed. We really have no need of animal products at all for our good health, and so there is not real need for animals to continually used still. Even getting bee honey does not help bees in any way. They pollinate flowers producing honey for bee offspring and do not need that taken from them for people to get instead. Some could argue for bee honey having health benefits, but not for everyone, certainly not babies, but not really, rightly, for other animal products at all.
