Return to DiscussionsI can care for either a cat or a dog, or any of other animals that can be managed in a home, I am not so speciesist. I think raising a pig from when little would be good, from what I have read and heard, they are as affectionate and more intelligent. I can't stop killing every being, but I can choose with what I buy at a store to eliminate contribution to demand for animal products, that is most meaningful. It is as important as acceptance of self and others.
