Offense will grow in response to any term
Return to Discussions'Textile' is probably not an offensive term to non-nudist people, but it is hard to know that it won't become so. I would not have known 'carnist' is offensive to some who are not vegan or vegetarian, being such and learning the term from such others, but for some who reacted to the term and were getting upset saying it is offensive. I kind of think that another term to be found will become offensive if used more even if it seems non-offensive to start with, in probably any case.
