On the Rivers?
Return to DiscussionsVA has a wealth of rivers suitable for canoeing, tubing, kayaking, etc. Does anyone know of sections that are particularly suitable and safe for nude recreation?
I know mere nudity is not illegal at the state level, but some localities have laws against it.
Anyone have stories of encountering textiles or law enforcement on the water?

Actually, mere nudity is illegal at the state level here in Virginia. Unless you can prove you had a reasonable expectation of privacy, which you're not going to do in public. That being said, I've got a great fishing/swimming spot on the Shenandoah I frequent.I'd love to do a canoe trip or a day on lake Anna
