Werrong Beach Track Nude Walkers
This group is for people who like a safe naturist bush walk. Werrong Beach is 30 minutes South of Sydney. The track is 40 minutes each way and exclusively serves the access for Werrong Beach. Werrong Beach is a lgal nudist beach so nudity along the trail should not cause offence. To make it easy to organise I propose a 7.00am walk every Sunday during the winter season and 6.00am in daylight...
Werrong Track Walk Sunday 23-7-17
Return to DiscussionsI kicked off at 8.30 and headed up the stairs onto the track that winds along the top of the ridge with awesome views of the ocean.
Three hundred metres down the track I turned right and made the next little clim upwards to the sign indicating the 1.1km track to Werrong Beach.
I was concerned about the high winds when i was walking across the top of the ridge but once in bushland with the protection of the trees there was little or no wind at all.
About five minutes into the walk I reached the rock with "nude" carved in it.
This is normally my undressing point and I removed my clothes and secured them in my back pack.
I trecked nude down the remaning section of track. I had one encounter with a guy walking alone heading up from the beach.
Without any notice I was unable to cover but we both said good morning and I kept going.
He seemed undeterred.
When walking nude I often find I forget I'm not wearing any clothes, and then just a little movement in the trees or a rustle on the track ahead and I get waves of apprehension.
My biggest fear is not being seen nude, but offending textile walkers who are not prepared to see a nude guy in the middle of the park.
I reached the beach in about 30 minutes. The only person on the beach was Michael.
We chatted for a while as i stood there and enjoyed the sun and the wind on my skin.
Michael was going to stay for a while but I needed to get going so I walked along the beach toward the track.
I started heading back up the track. Its a steep climb and not for the unwell or unfit.
Just as i approached the exit of the beach a young couple came out from the track. They were fully clothed in hiking gear and were obviously not intending to be nude on the beach.
I noted on my way back up the track at about 10am the traffic on the track had increased. I decided to go the rest of the way up clothed to avoid any embarrassment.
The round trip took 2.5 hours.
Hit the track about 9am, removed cladding at nude rock and enjoyed a lovely walk down to the beach passing a youngster on his way up. Only 2 others were there which made it very peaceful. Water was Gr8 but the sand a little washed out. We should get the group together as it is warm now.
