Our wee havenWe are a small naturist resort situated on the Scottish West Highlands www.westhighlandretreat.co.uk. We are open all year round. Often the question is why would anyone want to spend time in the west of Scotland without clothing.
This evening while relaxing in our 40 deg hydrotherapy pool with the snow falling all around we couldn't think of anything else quite like it.
Exploring the last wilderness in Europe walking for miles without ever seeing another human being is quite incredible. No need for wet clothing sticking to the legs or back from sweat. Being closer to nature is incredible and of course for some reason the lack of the rustling gortex leggings and coats seems to bring us closer to the wild deer, the otters pine martins, the eagles and many other species of wild life.
Having an open house policy for our guests means campers ,motor home or caravan users can all come into our guests lounge and enjoy Highland hospitality in front of the log fire. Enjoy the hydrotherapy centre or the secluded gardens.
Guests are never told to vacate by 10am and not to return before 4pm. They get to relax 24/7 uninhibited by clothing. The grounds are secure so no unwanted guests or embarrassment from passers by.
Fresh produce cooked to order mean we do not and never will cook frozen or microwave ready meals. We cook fresh produce either directly from the fishing boats or the butcher.
No need to dress for dinner naturist guests are normally naturist s so enjoying a meal in comfort is the norm.
Robes are provided for all guests together with pristine slippers to enhance the stay.
It is not uncommon to see the eagles on an almost daily basis. and whales dolphins are regular sights to see during coastal boat trips.
Guests enjoying a relaxing break can indulge in naturist massage and use the rest area to relax and unwind from the stresses of daily life.
guided mountain naturist hikes can be provided on request.
There is much more to offer in the highlands for naturist s than naturist s realise.
