WTR visitors and/or members directory?
Return to DiscussionsNo, there really isn't any way to contact people you may have met at White Tail besides the obvious - and mostly ineffective - way, returning to the scene of the crime and getting lucky that the person you'd like to interact with again has also chosen to visit at that same time.
There's a lesson to be had here ~ don't let the iron grow cold ~ if you meet someone with whom you feel you have an affinity, always take a second to trade at least minimal contact information with them before you part ways. That way you'll find out immediately if the person also feels like you, that there's more between you than only an acquaintance. And this doesn't have to be a romance thing - people come and go in life, and nudists do too. Good platonic nude friends can be difficult to find. Don't talk yourself out of it or you may never see them again, and life is best not lived full of regrets. My partner offered me her email address on a slip of paper the very first time she came to this resort where we met, now we live this beautiful naked life together!does anyone know if theres anything like a directory or any way to contact anyonewho you might have met at the resort during an event or just any random weekend?
thank you for your insight and advice willy ... i wasnt sure if anyone actually ever looks at this forum anymore
and we did discuss and agree to exchange contact information while in the hot tub, but neither of us had a pencil
or a phone with us ... only a towel then we all moved on to other fun social activities and just never got an opertunity
to do it before the weekend ended and everyone returned to real life :(

Happy to help, and do heed Voodoo's suggestion as well (me no do do the facebookie thing).
Two adds: It is a common idea that nudists need very little on their person besides their towel while resorting, and that is almost always the case. As a lover of words and writing, having a favorite pen on me when I'm nude isn't easy, what with my pocket protector left behind in the seventies, as well as the whole pocket left behind when I moved to WTR three years ago. To dip into nasty for a sec, the only place to keep a pen when I'm nude brings up hygiene issues better left alone, but for the humor aspect of it I do indulge - Sharpies do have a very smooth end (I personally prefer the chisel-tip version, for flair), and they do write on most anything that's not wet - which brings up one more use for that all-important towel. But it would be best, for all involved, to use the clip on its side to attach that helpful Sharpie pen to the brim of your hat rather than resorting to the likely unpleasant, visceral visual that was just planted in your brain.
And finally, we in the nude land of White Tail do prefer to reference the areas located outside our friendly green gate as "fake" and what goes on here in our bare naked land as "real". We cannot leave all the trappings of the fake world out there, but there's a whole lot more reality in here!
... on the issue of carrying other things with you .... there was a time when the office was selling a "pocket towel" ....
it was any one of the regular White Tail towels with a matching wash cloth sewn on at one of the corners and a velcro
strip to close the open end .... it was great for carrying cigarettes and change for the vending machines .... it would be
nice to see some of those back on the shelf :) .... but im pretty sure one of the members was making them then
When we go to a place and hit it off with people, we ask how we might stay in touch. It is important as you might return to the club/beach/whatever and not see them again. Most people do share how we can stay in touch via app, text or email. We learned our lesson in our previous location when all of a sudden it seemed all our nudist friends were moving away. Developing a new circle of friends took time and we keep up with people here or by other means and try to send a message if we haven't heard from people in a while. As a case in point, a couple we know who had moved away years ago are now near us in our new location in Florida. I had their contact information, and we will be meeting soon. One thing should be obvious: if you are asking people for contact information, you had better be prepared to reciprocate.
