Milwaukee was a great time last year, although the weather could have been better. I did not plan on doing it since I already made plans for Chicago that was on the same day. The week before, I met John, the organizer of the Milwaukee ride at the ride in Madison. He told me that since the Milwaukee ride is in the afternoon and Chicago was in the evening, it would be possible to do both. I decided to give it a try. I got to the start point early. The pre ride festivities were real nice with a live band, vendors for food and other stuff. Got a yummy brisket sandwich. It started raining during the pre ride stuff and a few sprinkles during the ride. It didn't rain real hard, but it was just enough to keep the rider count down. After the ride, I did not stay for any of the post ride activities since I had to haul ass to get to Chicago for their ride. I made it just in time so I did 2 rides in 1 day, or 3 rides in 7 days if you count Madison.
Last summer I did 8 rides in 7 cities (Montreal does a day and night ride, I did both) I will probably only do 3 or 4 of them this summer most likely in places that I have not done before.
