Return to DiscussionsTo be honest, the reason I joined this group is that I was hoping for some hints/advice on growing a landing strip. For years, I've just done a complete "Brazilian" wax job. It's a mess operation, but I learned to do it at home and save a bunch of bucks. I found a great product on amazon called Surgi Wax. The trick is to allow the fur to grow in about 1/4 inch before waxing again. Why I ever departed from this routine, I don't know, and regret to this day. I started shaving which caused prickly hairs to grow in - not soft like after waxing. I hated the prickly hairs so began to use tweezers to pluck them - which unfortunately, caused me to get a number of ingrown hairs. I would advise everyone to avoid plucking pubic hair for this reason. So here I am - trying to resist grabbing the tweezers as it became a nightly ritual. I'm trying to let everything grow out so I can return to waxing. Meanwhile, I'm wondering if anyone can advise me how to wax but still leave a little strip of fuzz where I want it.
