Return to DiscussionsTurning on the pole lathe is a great way to learn turning or increase your turning skills. Pole lathe work is so different from a power lathe. It is quite,had tons of torque and the feeling of the shavings coming off a sharp tool is mesmerizing. Pole lathes are easy to build so why not try it some time?
