I remember when i first start join men are comfortable walk around nude or doing other things nude like shaving or talking to each other. I believe men would let the guard down at the locker room and comfortable to be around with other men Nude. Any comment??
I think that total nudity should be allowed in the men's locker room, suana and steam rooms. We are all men...what is the problem?
People are being so selfish, cause they don't want to be seen nude in men room, so they make everybody wearing short in locker rm, sauna and steam rms. or people being homophobic!! SAD!
I just can't handle Y being so uptight about nudity, si i join L.A. fitness that even worst, people will be fully clothes with street clothes and shoes, Not even a soul will go naked. that is sad, these days how people used sauna and locker room. I can't see the next decade what would be like??
The Dowd YMCA in Charlotte, NC has a whirlpool, sauna and steam room where men are pretty much always nude. The whirlpool is the best as no one gets in there (almost) with anything on. I wish I could go to the Y all the time but it is off my normal path.
I swim at our local Y just about every day. We have a sauna for men only. Most of us go in naked and there are no problems with that. It's the same in the showers and locker rooms. Some men shave while completely naked; others sometimes read and are on their cell phones naked. Some seem to wait until the last minute before getting dressed to go out. It gets warm and steamy inside the locker room. There are two large fans but very little if any AC. I don't know of any of these other men are naturists, but most seem quite at easy with their nudity in the sauna, showers and locker room. It's always good to see that and even have a chat with them while nude.
All I have to say is you guys are very lucky!! your local gym still allow nudity these days. Just enjoy it and don't let anyone who are uptight about nudity to detroy our freedom for being nude at the Locker area!!
