Return to DiscussionsWe were traveling from Texas and New Mexico on I-10 freeway. We had planned on going there for the first time.
Well the desert around that area is pretty Baron. But here is this oasis out by itself. So we checked in and we had rented a cabin for two days because we had our large dog. Beautiful cabin, knotted pine paneling. Comfortable bed, AC, nice restroom, and a fenced in yard for our dog.
There was a short walk to the first Hot Tubs. Very nice pools, with a shower and an area to lay out in the sun. Then the main Hotsprings or a little hike around the travertine hill. With a slight downhill walk to the pools. The first pool was the hardest. And oh, was that a hot one! The next pool was larger and more enjoyable. And a third cooler single person pool. These were in the nudist area, which also included a campground. And when you rent a cabin, you also get access to a private tub for an hour free. Some of the most beautiful Hot Tubs Ive ever seen. Definitely get a chance use those. There is also closed hot tub section. But we have no reason to go there.
And for dog owners, there is a large wash area to the back of the property that you can take your dogs. My dog likes to chase the ball and he loved it.
We only live three hours away in Arizona. So we plan on going back and tinting it in the Nudist area. I didnt notice any trailers or motorhomes in the Nudist areas. But I did notice they had a large group in another section of the facility.
But if anybody has ever traveling through that area, definitely stop and enjoy the water. It felt great. Stay naked everyone.
