My First Visit to SVR

Return to Discussions

I was driving to central Florida and since I've wanted to visit this nudist resort for awhile I left a day early so I could visit and camp overnight. The staff was friendly and helpful. The new pool and large jetted spa were clean. It was sure nice to sit in the spa with a jet on my neck and upper back then cool off in the pool. The Lodge is nice. it has a large dining area. There's a bar build but they don't have a license yet to serve alcohol yet. There's a pool table and some electronic dart boards. I proved once again suck at pool. And of course it's air conditioned. That was nice after walking around the grounds and wooded trails to have a place to cool off before showering and jumping back into the pool. And another important thing. The short-term /overnight camping lots are close to the pool AND BATHROOMS. It's important to me anyway.
So, since they are just off I-75 and if you have a few hours its a good place to stop and recharge. Or do like I did. I added an extra day into my trip.

That's not too far from me. I'll have to check it out sometime.
