About Guvano Beach

Nestled in the quaint village of Corniglia within the famed Cinque Terre, Guvano Beach beckons to those who cherish the freedom of naturism. This secluded gem, accessible through an old railway tunnel, offers a serene escape where the Ligurian Sea kisses the shore, inviting nudists, naturists, and lovers of clothing-optional environments to bask in its untouched beauty.

Historically, Guvano Beach has been a haven for FKK enthusiasts since the 1970s, celebrated for its privacy and natural setting. While the path to this nude beach may require some effort, the tranquil experience of sunbathing and swimming in the nude more than compensates for the adventurous trek.

It's important to note that while Guvano Beach remains a popular spot for those seeking a clothing-optional experience, its official legal status can be ambiguous, and visitors are encouraged to stay updated through local resources before planning their visit.

Whether you're a seasoned nudist or a curious first-timer, Guvano Beach offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature and embrace the liberating experience of naturism. Here, amidst the whispers of waves and rustling leaves, the spirit of freedom and acceptance flourishes.

So, let the sun paint your skin, the sea cleanse your worries, and the pebbled sands ground your soul at this hidden sanctuary where every visit feels like a discreet dance with nature.

Guvano Beach Directions

This is a clothing-optional secluded beach that only locals seem to know about. Its not easy to find: above and to the right of the train platform head down a narrow flight of stairs, follow a brick coastal wall and turn right, until you come to the entrance of a dismissed old railway tunnel with a metal gate. You will need a torch (note: you cannot walk through the dark tunnel without a torch) to walk (note: walk very close to the wall on your left) through the 10-minute-long path to a private vineyard overlooking two phenomenal beaches. Be sure to stock up on water and snacks at the train station; there are no concession shacks at the beach.
