Kalvoya Directions
This official free beach is located on Kalvoya just outside Sandvika, south-west of Oslo. The beach is just opposite the Henie-Onstad museum of art at Hovikodden. The island can be reached via a pedestrian suspension bridge from the urbanisation Sandvika west of Oslo. There are frequent railway- and bus-services from Oslo. It is about 20 minutes walk from the railway station to the beach. If you arrive by car, turn off the E18 to Sandvika and follow the signs for Kadettangen. There is a carpark at the bridge and at Kadettangen. It will take you about 15 minutes to walk to the beach from the carpark.
