Some friends of mine and I went to Playalinda this week and I noticed there are two new signs notifying visitors that they may encounter nude sunbathers at boardwalk #13. It's good to see the park service seems to have officially accepted the beach is clothing optional.

I was there today for the first time. You are correct. It was good to see and made me feel so much more comfortable. The beach had nudist all along 13 and 12 lots on the beach. I recommend anyone close get there and enjoy it. But everyone is correct on parking. I got there at 10am and literally got the last parking spot at 13.

This move is great news! Not only by being officially noted as clothing optional but also the expansion of the nudist area to include parking lot 12. Glad to see they are helping to make America Nude again!

Yeh new signs are at Apollo and Playalinda,, so nude people in lot 11, 12 and 13, at playa, and also nudes at lot 4 and 5 at apollo, just walk south at lot 4 away form the ramp ....

We have been their ourselves on a holiday weekend when people were nude all they way past 11 getting near 10 it was I really how many nudist were out that day..If I reminder Forrest the sign is posted just before 12 and one is just as you start all the parking areas I believe so people are warned ahead of time about the nude areas..

Yes they have signage also at apollo beach on the other end so they have signed both beaches winches is great so people can't complain they have been warned.Now if they could only read and not gacth at nudity..LOL

So glad to hear this officially. We had heard rumors but only rumors. We have been as low as area 11 Nude on crowded weekends and when things slowed, the rangers did ask us to move towards area 12 but we never did and they never mentioned it. I really love this beach. Hope the idiots don't screw this up now that the county has eased up. Thanks for the update. We are headed there this weekend!!
